Losing weight is hard for most of us. The news of how to do it is overwhelming at times...do this, not that etc. But there has to been information out there that is for the most part a real true guideline no matter what you do.
First: what do people who succeed do?
Almost 80% eat breakfast. 75% weigh themselves weekly, 62% watch less than 10hrs of tv a week and 90% workout
Second: Monitor Yourself
Measure what you eat. Track your meals. Weigh yourself regularly. May consider wearing a pedometer
Third: Attitude and Goals
Be realistic. plan your meals. Tell friends and family you are dieting and ask for support or even have them join you. Manage your stress, get good sleep and adopt other healthy habits over time.
All of these activities are not specific to any one diet. They are needed to have the core of success in place...and that is the person itself. Without a mentally prepared YOU, success may be elusive.
